Mr. John Eldon Talbott, 93, of West Plains, MO, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Cedarhurst assisted living in West Plains. He was born September 23, 1930 in Poplar Bluff to the late John and Ruby Talbott.
Mr. Talbott served in the US Army from 1951-1953 in Anchorage Alaska, and then the Army Reserve for eight years.
He retired from Baxter Lab, a member of the Mountain Home Church of Christ, and a volunteer of the Paragould Children?s Home. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grand children, and great grandchild, and collecting coins and knives.
He is survived by his son, Terry (Tammy) Talbott; daughter, Rhonda (Bob) Leonard; five grandchildren: Letitia, (Jeff) Wilkening, Amanda (Clayton) Grigsby, Brooke (Jeremy) Johnson, Elysha Talbott, and Ashley (Derek) Ray; and nine great grandchildren; Ayden, Ben, Cade, Trett, Coldin, Mackenzie, Bryson, Dallas, and Roxy.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Lula Mae Talbott.
Funeral services for Mr. John Talbott will be Saturday, October 28 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Roller Funeral Home of Mountain Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Paragould Children?s home, 5515 Walcott Rd. Paragould, AR 72450.
Services are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Rhonda and Terry, so many memories with our families for so many years. I am so sorry for the loss of your of dad, and your mom. I was unaware of her passing. I will keep all your familiy in my thoughts and prayers.

He and Mrs. Talbot were so kind and loving when we worshipped together in Mountain Home. My best to the family.
Eldon and Lula Mae were a great couple. We had many good times and worship with them.
John and Lula Mae were wonderful Christian friends. We lived in Mtn. Home back in the 80s.
