Charles "Chuck" Hefton, passed October 15, 2023 at home. He was born to Raymond and Beulah Hefton on April 23, 1943. He was married to Madeline Peters Hefton who passed in 2004.
Chuck was a construction worker until he bought Stone Ground Natural Foods which he ran for over twenty years, until he retired. He was a regular at the Rainbow Cafe after retiring, where he met with many friends for supper.
Chuck is survived by three sons, Clinton Hefton of Mountain View, Arkansas, Ray Hefton Sutton, Chris (Angie) Hiner from Indiana; two daughters, Geraldine (Greg) Hefton Morris of Alabama, Vanessa (James) Webb of Mountain View, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Trinity Fleetwood, Geranda Clark, Jaymee McAbee, Courtney Brewer, Shelby Hiner; six great-grandchildren, April Buckley, Reagan Buckley, Mason Brewer, Harper Brewer, Riven Clark and Linkan Clark and special friend, Michelle Lancaster.
Chuck is preceded in death by his wife, Madeline Hefton, his parents and many special friends, including very close friend Wilma Barker.
A family memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home of Mountain View is handling the funeral services.

This was a fine man. I knew his health had gotten bad, but I don’t live in Mt View anymore. John and I always loved spending time with him. John passed in July. Hope he and John are in heaven together.

I just found out. Vanissa, I am so sorry to hear this. Chuck was a wonderful person and he will be missed. He passed on B.D.,s Birthday. Again I am so sorry, I wish I could be there. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
