Luana Jane Beard, 75, of Marion, AR, passed away on September 21, 2023.

She was born in Denver, CO, on February 24, 1948. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Mabel Beam. She is survived by husband, Danny Beard, and her 4 daughters, Alisa Williams (Bryan) of Marion, Stephanie Farnam (Anthony) of Cabot, Jennifer Gooch of Germantown, Wendy Williams (Neal) of West Memphis, grandchildren, Nick, Ashley, Emily, Jackalyn, Jordan, Olivia, Dason, Peyton, Braden, Gracie, Spencer, Molly Reeves, Ellie, Dena, Rachel, Kelsey, Jordan and Lauren and several great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her fur babies Faith and Hope.

Luana graduated from Venango High School in Nebraska in 1966 and attended Cosmetology School in Denver Colorado. She and Danny were married September 27, 1970 in Lamar, Nebraska. They moved to Arkansas in July of 1977. She worked as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist for 25+ years for Dr. Henry C. Wah in Marion.

Although she suffered from Multiple Sclerosis for several years she was always sharing an encouraging word or video to her friends on Facebook. She was a lifelong fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A come and go celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 29th from 1-4 p.m. at the Danner Planting Company in Clarkedale at 4001 East Clarkedale Road, Turrell.

Luana and I were childhood friends through our church in Nebraska and a neighbor in Colorado; and, we recently reconnected thru FB. I am sorry for your loss; y’all are in my thoughts and prayers...may your mom rest in heavenly peace... blessings and love to y’all

Alisa I know how much it hurts to loose a mom and how much the memories mean after they're gone. Wish I lived closer to be there for Danny and all of you at this y ok me. May God blees you and hold you close in His arms. Love you all
