Mrs. Reba Peifer, 76, of Jonesboro passed away Monday, October 16. 2023, She was born January 18, 1947 in Grubbs to Harmon and Evelyne (Ballard) Whitehurst. She was of the Baptist faith and loved reading and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, two brothers and one sister.
Left to cherish her memories are her father; husband, Larry Peifer; sons, Donald (Amy) Mayes and John Mayes; daughter, Sherry Garza; bonus children, Brian Peifer, Maegan Peifer, Marsha Davis and Paula Peifer; grandchildren, Caleb, Cameron, Derek, Gage and Kinsley Mayes, Cheryl Novakovich, Erica Smith and Alexandria Ross and several bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, October 20, 2023 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro, AR 72401 with Pastor Tony Miller officiating. A burial will follow in Boliver Cemetery, Harrisburg.
Visitation will precede services at 10:00 am.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Herbie Mayes, Caleb Mayes, Daniel Hubbs, Shawn Whitehurst, Stacey Whitehurst, Tim Ritter, and Danny Stallings.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Mayes, Lynn Whitehurst and Brian Peifer.
We love and miss you so much. Daddy hurts for you everyday. He knows he will be with you again in heaven someday. You are loved by so many people. Daddy misses you bad!
I know SHE,S listening I want you to know YOU will be missed. Wish I could have seen you before you
left, I i wish you well in your new venture. Thinking of all the family during this time, keep her in your
heart and your memory there she will stay forever. Wish all of you good things through out your lives.

My Aunt Red was a wonderful person, full of joy and love. She was my mother's best friend and sister. I will always cherish the memories of her in my life. She is free from this body of pain and I believe laughing with her brothers and sisters again.
