Sherry Blanchard, age 66, of Marion, Arkansas passed away on October 15, 2023. She was born on November 7, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee to Betty Weldon and the late John Weldon. Sherry was a beautiful, funny, loving and passionate woman who had a heart of gold. She had a successful career and retired from AutoZone, where she worked in payroll.
Sherry is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Cleveland Blanchard; her loving daughter, Christy (Phillip) Rosser and her devoted son, Bradley (Samantha) Blanchard. She was a cherished grandmother to her grandsons, Tyler Atkins, Cameron Atkins and Noah Atkins. Sherry also leaves behind her mother, Betty Weldon; her sisters, Kay Miller and Janice (Gene) Stoudt and her nephew, Kevin Miller and great-nephew, Bronx Miller. She is preceded by her father, John Weldon and her grandmother, Mazie Pipes.
In her free time, Sherry enjoyed fishing, shopping, making jewelry, collecting gemstones and making dolls, to name a few of her many talents. She had a creative spirit and found joy in these hobbies. Sherry was a very loving woman and could make beauty out of anything. She had a huge heart and family was what mattered to her the most.
The funeral service for Sherry Blanchard will be held at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas on October 23rd at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 21st at 5:30 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend the service to pay their respects and celebrate Sherry's life.
