of Earle, AR

March 12, 1929 - October 15, 2023

Mary Grace West

Graduated from Hughes High School in Hughes, AR. After graduation she went to Draughon Business College in Memphis, TN. After she finished at Draughon she worked in Memphis for a short time and married Wiley P. (Buddy) West of Heath, AR. They settled into a life of farming and had six fine sons. Steve (Charlotte), Johnny (Patty and Kay Z), Randy (Charlean), Barry (Sandi), Keith (Teresa) and Phillip (Penny). With 6 sons she decided to be a stay-at-home mom. A decision she never regretted and she had 6 fine sons and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was lucky to have had grandparents and one set of great grandparents to help whenever they were needed. Mary Lee and Howard West, James Dyle and Era Brown and great grandparents, John and Sally Franks. Then she had those wonderful daughters-in-law. They made up for the daughter she never had and the many granddaughters and grandsons in the family. She felt like God blessed her with a wonderful family.

What a blessing God gave us all for you to be our Mother, our Mother -In-Law, Our Meme and a friend to all. The angels have been singing loud. The stars are shining bright. I know there will never be another but you sure taught us so much!

Ms Mary, I have not seen you in a while. I have gone by your house but I didn’t see anyone around. You were always very kind to me, my husband and Shirley when we came out to pick up pecans. I remember sitting talking to you in your living room. God has gained a beautiful angel. You are there with three of your boys plus your husband. Sending prayers to the rest of the family. RIP Ms Mary.
