Donald "Sarge" Albein Taylor, age 91, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 at his home.

Donald was born in Buffalo, New York on March 7, 1932. He was a 39 1/2-year career United States Army veteran. He was a member of the Waukegan Coin Club, the Moose Lodge in Illinois, The American Legion in Yellville and the VFW. He collected first day covers and enjoyed playing mini-golf.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Taylor of the home; his son, Carl Taylor; his daughter, Cheryl Bossert (Mark); step-daughters, Melissa McDonald (Jeremy), Rachel Kozlowski (Jon); eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and a sister.

Arrangements by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville are private.
