Shirley Ann Woodard (Joslin), of England, AR went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 14, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Shirley was born on September 17, 1949 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Shirley was a proud mother and Nana. She was a beautiful soul with a strong will. Her faith was unwavering and she never failed to share her love for the Lord. She found great joy in giving to others and the holidays were the perfect time to do so. She enjoyed watching her garden flower and tended to her plants with great care. Seasonal trips with her daughter were the perfect vacations for Shirley. She enjoyed close moments with her loved ones more than anything. This past year her life was made easier and more fulfilling with the love of a special friend and caregiver, Karen Henry.
Shirley is survived by her son, John Woodard and granddaughter, Emily Woodard; her daughter, Angie Canada and her husband, Gary Canada and their sons, Seth and Jake Canada and daughter, Sierra Smith and her great-grandchildren, Selena and Holly Smith; her sister-in-law, Caroline Joslin and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Otha and Ruby Joslin; her brothers, Jimmy and Darrel Joslin and sister, Mary Ann.
The family of Shirley will be holding a funeral service in her honor at Roller Funeral Home in England, Arkansas on Tuesday, October 17th. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm, funeral service at 2:00, followed by graveside at Mulberry Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to attend and express their condolences.
You were a wonderful person, friend and, neighbor. I'll truly miss you.
I have known Shirley for some time.
Shirley was so much fun. She would keep you entertained.

I was so sorry to hear about Shirley . I knew her growing up in England .Her cousin Brenda and I were best friends and that’s how I got to know her. Later in life just few years back , she and I were in Sunday School together at First Baptist Sherwood. She attended church there for a time. I know she will be missed by family and close friends.
