Lillie Alline Stuart, 86, of Newport, AR passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Unity Hospital in Newport. She was born June 2, 1937 in Cash, AR to William Taft and Lillie Pearl (Thompson) Morgan. Lillie was a homemaker and a member of the Weiner First Baptist Church. She loved sewing and embroidery and most of all, being with her family.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Thomas Stuart; a brother, William Carroll Morgan and two sisters, Marie Weathers and Katherine Taylor.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Lillie include her sons, Vaughn Stuart and Thomas Stuart; three daughters, Patricia (Kenneth) Johnson, Kathy McNutt and Peggy (Lane) Kelley; grandchildren, Sherry, Jeremy, T.J., Morgan, April, Blake, David, Stephen and Jason; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a sister, Merline (Jimmy) Phillips.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Weiner First Baptist Church with Conway Safirt officiating. Burial will follow at Redd Cemetery.
Visitation will precede the service beginning at 11 am for the public.

I had the pleasure of taking care of Ms. Lillie at The Blossoms of Whiteriver. I grew very close to Ms. Lillie. We talked every day that I worked, tried to anyway. She brightened my day always. I love her and always will. May the peace of the Lord be with all the family.

Aunt Alline was a great lady that will be missed by the whole family! I loved all the good times we had as children growing up with her and all the cousins during the summer months. We were a motley crew!!!
