Maxine E. Shaw, 98, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord October 9, 2023. She was born January 30, 1925 in Swifton, Arkansas to Thomas and Lucinda Brown Victory. Maxine loved spending time outdoors, caring for her chickens, gardening, working with flowers, fishing, crocheting and cooking for her family. Some of her favorite things to cook were chicken and dumplings, pecan logs and popcorn balls for Halloween. Maxine enjoyed listening to music and singing. She was a member of the Lorance Drive church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Verner O. Shaw; children, Ruth Ann Shaw, Audrey Fohn, Gary Shaw and grandson, Robert Shaw; siblings, Marie Clark, Maurice L. Victory and Paul Junior Victory.
Maxine is survived by her three sons, Donald Shaw (Gloria) of Little Rock, Vernon Shaw (Karen) of East End and David Shaw (Charlotte) of East End; Nine grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9-10 am Friday, October 13, 2023 in the chapel of Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, with funeral services starting at 10 am. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.

Mrs Shaw was very near and dear to my heart,she was the best neighbor that I've ever had the pleasure of living next. Maxine was a joy to be around,and I will miss seeing and talking to her from time to time. She will be missed but never forgotten,and will always have a special place in my heart.
Maxine and Verner always held a special place in my heart. I love her and will miss both of them always. May God bless and comfort her family.

Aunt Maxine was a beautiful and sweet lady. I always enjoyed visiting with her when I lived in Jacksonville, Arkansas and visiting as a kid with my mom and dad she will be missed and his loved.
