Tessie Miller Snider, 90, of Batesville passed away October 9, 2023.
She was born September 23, 1933 in Powhatan, Arkansas to Albert Miller and Ruth Patterson Miller.
Tessie was a caring, loving, kind and God fearing member of Grace Communion Church. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, her recipe collection and her love of the people at the church. She attended Cave City High School through eleventh grade, babysat for many years and worked at East Area Agency on Aging for 18 years. Tessie enjoyed canning and cooking and loved to bake.
Survivors include her son, Michael Snider of Batesville; two daughters, Karen Collins of Irving, Texas and Patricia Reynolds of Pocahontas, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Brent Reynolds (Angel), Megan Coates (Billy), Jeremy Collins; five great-grandchildren, Peyton and Cameron Owens, Tate, Lexi and Beckett Reynolds and three nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Daniel Ray Snider and two brothers, James and Bobby Miller.
Pallbearers are Jim Nordhook, Jeff Nordhook, Peyton Owens, Cameron Owens and Brent Reynolds.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville with Jeff Nordhook officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held for 1:00pm until 2:00pm just prior to the service.
