Donnie Ray Horton, age 73, of Springfield, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on August 24th, 1950 to Thomas Thelmo Horton and Wenoka Elizabeth Treat Horton.
Donnie graduated from Marshall High School. His working years were spent as a dry wall finisher in the construction business. He enjoyed fishing and especially liked to go fishing with his dad.
Survivors include his sons, Heath Horton of Leslie and Justin Horton of Clinton; grandchildren, Lyndsey Horton, Ethan Horton, Hadley Horton, Ryder Horton, Piper Horton, Maddison Horton, Trey Horton and Blakeleigh Horton; great-grandchildren, Charley Mattingly, Paisley Mattingly and Gage Horton; siblings, Tommy Horton of Conway, Clara Nell Myatt (Daniel) of Pearcy and Bette McArthur (Foster) of Katy, Texas; nieces and nephews, Kellie Daniels (Mike), Brindy Coonce (Jason), Beth Isom (Ronnie), Danny Myatt (Sherry), Kami Vaughn (Ed) , Mandy Barrett (Jason) and Calum McArthur (Anna) and numerous cousins, extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.
Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Thelmo and Wenoka Horton and one grandson, Max Heath Horton.
Graveside memorial services for Donnie will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas.
