Dona W. Stacks was born on October 31, 1940 in North Little Rock, Arkansas and passed away peacefully on October 8, 2023. She was three weeks and two days shy of turning 83 on October 31, 2023 which was not only her birthday, but it was also her favorite holiday. She would always say Halloween is my favorite holiday because it's my birthday!
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerrell and Faye Parker and one brother, Jerry B. Parker. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bill Stacks and one daughter, Michelle Wolfe both from Edgemont, Arkansas; one grandson, Hunter (Christina) Wolfe of Conway and two precious great grandsons, Hudson Wolfe and Elliott Wolfe; one sister, Gwen (Donald) Stephens of Stuttgart, Arkansas; one very special nephew, Jeramy (Angie) Stephens and two great nephews, Connor Stephens and Jack Stephens all from Stuttgart.
After moving to this area, Dona worked for Fairfield Communities, in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, as a secretary in the sales office for 36 plus years until she retired. She was very dedicated to her work and strived to do her very best. She loved her job and while there she made many, many friends.
Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Dona's final resting place will be at Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart, Arkansas with interment at 3:00 p.m.
