Ruth Edmondson Tako, 97, of Springdale, Arkansas, formerly of Clarksville, died August 28, 2023. She was born April 30, 1926 in Strongsville, Ohio.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Tako; a son, Joe Tako and a daughter, Sally Ann Utley,
She is survived by a son, John (Betsy) Tako of Cape Fair, Missouri and a daughter, Florence (James) Johnson of Fayetteville, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Graveside interment will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery.
Lovely woman she will be greatly missed.

So sorry for the loss of your Mom. I enjoyed hearing her talk at your wedding she reminded me of my Aunt Cornell who lived to be 99 years young. Prayers for you & the family.

I am sorry to see that Ruth has passed away. She would come to the library in Clarksville and we would have nice conversions. Prayers for her family.
My mother, Lucille, admired Ruth in so many ways. They had many good times together. She certainly had a long and interesting life and always talked with pride about her family. I send my sympathies for your loss.
She was a wonderful person and very talented always had a smile we will miss her our prayers are with the family
Ruth had such a strong character. She never let anyone stop her from doing what she wanted. I admired her and will forever miss her. I know she is up in heaven with grandpa and truly happy again.
Got to know her because of her friendship with jean king attended many women’s event events there she certainly a free spirit She looks just like i remember sure she and jean are catching up ont many things Florence and rest of family you have my condolences she led a full life
