Gary Lynn Chandler, 68, passed away on September 27, 2023 at White River Health Care in Calico Rock. He was born November 20, 1954 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Roscoe and Annes Chandler.
He lived in Clarkridge throughout his life. Gary worked as a welder as well as a fishing guide on the White River. Before going into the nursing home it would be hard to find him because he was always fishing and hunting. He loved to be outside enjoying nature, he also enjoyed playing pool with anyone who would play with him.
Gary is survived by his son, Bruce H. (Kelly) Chandler of Mountain Home; brother, Bruce Chandler of Gassville; sister, Margaret (Ray) Smith of Virginia and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Annes Chandler; four brothers, Jackie, Earl Graham, Jerry and Loyd Chandler and three sisters, Clara Chandler, Mary Ann Chandler and Donna Kendall.
No services are scheduled at this time.
All arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Mountain Home.

Gary was a very interesting man. I took care of him while he was in Pinelane health and rehab. He always had a story to tell and we were always doing something wrong, but that's what made him interesting. He will be missed.
