Steven Wayne Johnson, 59, of Maumelle, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, at his home.

Steven was born on June 30, 1964, in Fort Smith, Arkansas to his parents, the late Dennis Wayne Johnson and Beverly Ann Huckaby Johnson. He graduated from Southside High School in 1982, and from Westark Community College. He later moved to Little Rock and worked as a systems analyst for Affiliated Foods, Acxiom, and other data processing companies. Steven was an avid fisherman and spent his spare time fishing Lake Maumelle and the Arkansas River. He was also an avid duck hunter and hunted the Black River.

He is survived by his brother, Gary D. Johnson (and wife, Debbie) of Little Rock, and nieces, Rebekah Bloyd (Caleb) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Deborah Edwards ( Frazier) of Little Rock.

There will be a Memorial Graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2023 at McVay Cemetery in Carbon City.

Memorial service arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
