Gayle Howard Sanders, 65, of Redfield passed away September 25, 2023 at UAMS in hospice care. She was born on November 29, 1957 in Long Beach, California to Leon Howard and Nona Faye Conger Howard.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Clyde Howard and her grandbaby, Sabra Davidson. Gayle is survived by her husband, Lucian Sanders, that she loved with all her heart and he took very good care of her. One daughter, her best friend, Shirley "Sissy" McCall (JJ); two sons, George Davidson, Jr. that was her Ride or Die buddy and Leon Davidson that was the baby and he knew it; one step-son, Luke Sanders (Brandy); thirteen grandchildren that were her world, she loved them with all her heart; eleven great grandchildren that were the apple of her eye; Gayle loved all her family. She tried to love everyone, she was never afraid of dying, she was ready to go and see all her family that had passed before her, especially her mom.
Visitation will be held from 11 am to 12 noon Thursday, September 28, 2023 in the Chapel of Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30. A funeral service will be held at noon. Burial will follow at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
