Woody Allen Hopper, age 78, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 in Helena, Arkansas. Woody was born on Sunday, December 3, 1944 to the late Earl Hopper and Helene Bullock. Woody enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting for arrowheads, camping and remodeling homes. He was a member of Broad Acres Methodist Church. Mr. Hopper was a Vietnam Veteran.
Woody is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Polly Dunlap Hopper; one son, Christopher Hopper of Germantown, Tennessee; one daughter, Lisa Blount (Paul) of Senatobia, Mississippi; two granddaughters, Heather Coleman (Eric) of Coldwater, MS and Ally Farrow (Brad) of Strayhorn, MS; one grandson, Tyler Jaco (Abby) of Senatobia, Mississippi and 6 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Helene Hopper.
No service is planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation.
