Harlan Dean Weatherly (79) of Clinton, Arkansas passed away September 21, 2023. He was born March 12, 1944 to Harry Harlan and Wanda Alice (Gray) Weatherly in Callaway, Nebraska.
Dean married his high school sweetheart on October 25, 1963 and together they had 4 children, Terri Weatherly, Karena DeYoung, Daniel Weatherly and Denise Weatherly-Green.
In his youth, Dean was involved in ranch life, sports and 4-H. He drove an 18-wheeler for many years before becoming a general contractor. He later owned a hardware and glass store in Clinton.
Dean and Corrine left Nebraska and relocated to Clinton, Arkansas in 1976, where they both became involved in the Van Buren County Fair association in 1979 until their passing this year. He served on the board for many years being instrumental in the relocation of the current fairgrounds.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Harlan and Wanda; a brother, Charles and his wife of 59 years, Corrine Kay (Biehl) Weatherly.
He is survived by his sister, Sharon Leibhart of Broken Bow, Nebraska; his 4 children and spouses; Terri Weatherly, Karena (Kenny) DeYoung, Daniel (Shawna) Weatherly, Denise ( Chris) Weatherly-Green; eleven grandchildren, Barrett McKnight, Colton Weatherly, Jacob DeYoung and Taylor (Braden) Bowman, Parker (Audrey) Weatherly, Collin (Kelsey) Weatherly, Allison (Logan) Miller, Corrina Weatherly, Kathrena Weatherly, Logan Green, Graycie Green and 3 great-grandchildren, Maxwell McKnight, Mia Weatherly and Asher Weatherly.
Memorials may be made to the Van Buren County Fair Association Corrine Weatherly Memorial Scholarship fund.

So sorry for your loss. I have known Dean and Corrine for many years and always loved talking to them. I was their Bookkeeper for Bowling Supply and Sew What so had a business and personal friendship with them.
