Kerry E. Nix, age 72, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born January 8, 1951, in Texarkana, Arkansas, the son of Thomas and Earline (McKnight) Nix who preceded him in death.
Kerry attended Northvale Baptist Church, worked in real estate, served 15 years in the U.S. Air Force, enjoyed Arkansas Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys football, and St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and spending time with his family and church family.
Kerry is survived by his sons, Jason Nix and wife, Jennifer and Alan Nix and wife, Ashley all of Harrison; granddaughters, Faith and Hallie Nix of Harrison; sister, Krista Bean of Austin, Texas and brothers, Kolby Nix of Shreveport, Louisiana and Kelsey Nix of Raleigh, North Carolina.
A Memorial service was held Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Northvale Baptist Church with Pastor Byron Cothran officiating.
