Marsue Harvey (Sue), 95, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on September 14, 2023. She was born on January 14, 1928 in Clay County, Arkansas to the late Odie and Sebe Higdon. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Harvey Jr.; her parents; her sister, Martha Phillips and her brothers, Robert, Bill and Arlin Higdon.

Marsue was a loving and caring individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She had a passion for gardening and took great joy in tending to her garden. Sue was a faithful member of the Little Rock Church of Christ, where she found solace and strength in her faith. She was actively involved in her church community and enjoyed cooking for her church friends and family. Sue's culinary skills were well-known and she especially loved preparing meals for her loved ones.

In addition to her dedication to her church, Sue had a love for animals. She raised small goats and adored little dogs. She also had a special bond with her nieces and nephews, who brought her immense joy and happiness. Sue had a keen eye for antiques and enjoyed decorating her home with unique pieces she found at estate sales.

Professionally, Sue served as the cafeteria manager and cook at Cook Elementary in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Her hard work and dedication made a positive impact on the students she served.

Sue is survived by her stepdaughter, Pat Wright (Lynn); stepsons, Don Harvey (Donna) and James Harvey (Teri), as well as her nieces, Ruth Shuffield, Sue Inman, Connie Halstead, Paula Gray and nephews, Bobby Higdon, Sammy Higdon, Ray Phillips, Dennis Phillips and Melton Phillips. She also leaves behind her loving friends, Doug and Debbie Edwards.

The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Arkansas Hospice Foundation, located at 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.
