Janet A. Carruth, age 67, of Harrison passed away on September 8, 2023 in Harrison. She was born December 30, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Janet was active in the Special Olympics as a bocce ball champion, receiving over 70 awards. She enjoyed going to the annual day camp and fishing derbies. She never missed an opportunity to get a hamburger and a Diet Coke. She enjoyed crafts and painting rocks. She loved Christmas and she would prefer it to be Christmas year-round. She was an avid animal lover. She thought of the clients and staff of Independent Living as her family.

Visitation was Monday, September 11, 2023 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral services were September 12, 2023 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Matt Miller, Justin Woolwine, Chris Carson and Conley Spradlin.

Honorary pallbearers were Lorna Spradlin, Linda Stewart and Sherry Gordon.
