Helen C. Taylor, 83, of Marion, Arkansas passed away on September 7, 2023. She was born on January 5, 1940 in Caraway, Arkansas to parents, Quillo Clayton and Johnnie Parker.
Helen was a homemaker and loved knitting, being with her grandkids, going to church, spending time with her family and singing gospel music with company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marion, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Taylor; her parents and one sister, Sherry Lemay.
Helen is survived by her son, Bobby Taylor (Bobbie) of Marion, Arkansas; daughter, Sandy Pope (John) of Forrest City, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren, Matt May, Amy Anderson and April Taylor; 7 great grandchildren, Ansley Anderson, Luke Taylor, Kori May, Taylor Lapradd, Jacob Taylor, Mary Majors-Anderson and Payton Taylor; 4 sisters, Leigh Phillips of Searcy, Arkansas, Mary Ann Hodges of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Alice Harrison of Trumann, Arkansas and Deborah Troillett of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Services for Helen will be held at Angels Way Baptist Church in Marion, Arkansas. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 starting at 9AM. The funeral will follow visitation at 10AM. Interment will take place at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas following the service.
My heart is just broken, just heard about this a few weeks ago...Helen was like a second mother to me and the Gibson's thought the world of her & her family. I'm so sorry I wasn't there Sandy if I'd known you know I would've been there. My thoughts and prayers for all of her precious family....love you Sandy.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet mama. I remember seeing her sweet face and hearing her beautiful voice in the choir every Sunday at Marion Baptist. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
