Charles William "Bill" Halliday, age 82, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Bill was born in San Saba, Texas on January 13, 1941 to William Earnest and Lessie Lee (Angerstein) Halliday. He was an avid outdoorsman - fishing, hunting and working cattle. A Jehovah's Witness by faith, he will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Mr. Halliday is survived by his wife, Vistie, of the home; three sons, Len Halliday of Dolph, Carl Halliday, Allan Halliday both of Yellville; his daughter, Denise Horton of Yellville; one brother, Jerry D. Halliday; two sisters, Linda Darlene, Jayme Michele; four grandchildren, Traci Holmes, Cara Spence, Katie Halliday, Aubrey Halliday and five great-grandchildren, Abbi Holmes, Cassi Holmes, Emmi Holmes, Ryleigh Spence and Reagan Spence.
He was preceded in death by his son, Earnest Halliday; two brothers, Roy Halliday, David J. Halliday and two sisters, Lessie Lee and Nelda Sharon.
A visitation for Mr. Halliday will be 9:00-11:00 am Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home.
A graveside service will follow at Georges Creek Cemetery near Yellville with Bro. Jerry Halliday officiating.
Pallbearers will be his friends and family.
