Kathryn Ann O'Bryant, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in Harrison, Arkansas. Kathryn was born on Thursday, November 3, 1927 to the late Kate Taylor and Martin Vance McCord. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening and doing yard work. Ms. Kathryn married her high school sweetheart, Mr. Sharlon O'Bryant in 1948, they remained married until Mr. Sharlon's passing in 2012.
Ms. Kathryn is survived by two sons, Pat (Judy) O'Bryant of Elaine, Arkansas, Mike (Martha) O'Bryant of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Sharon (Ken) Milburn of Harrison, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Anna Kate (Jason) Tatum, Matt (Rachel) Milburn, Taylor O'Bryant; five great-grandchildren, Berkley Tatum, Britton Tatum, Madison O'Bryant, Maggie Milburn and Margo Milburn.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Sharlon Lamar O'Bryant; her parents; two brothers, Roger McCord, Ellis McCord and one sister, Mattie Frier.
A graveside service for Kathryn O'Bryant will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Park in Barton, Arkansas. Brother Luke Watson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude's.

Kathryn was a good woman she loved her family and her home .She loved a good plate lunch with chicken dressing,green beans ,and cabbage.I was blessed to get to know her she will be missed we where not related but I thought of her as grandmother.

I am so sorry to hear this. Kat and I were the last surviving members of the Class of 1945 at Wooduff. I will be 95 in January and have said goodbye to so many friends. What a homecoming that will be one day! Prayers for comfort and peace to all the family.
