Darrell Clubb, 71, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at his home in Knoxville. He was born December 25, 1951, in Clarksville, to Neil Clifford and Floy Elizabeth (Turner) Clubb. A native of Johnson County, he spent most of his life in law enforcement, starting as an AR DOT District Investigator. He then became a Deputy for the Johnson County Sheriff's Department, then a Chief Deputy under Sheriff Nicholas, a member of the Drug Task Force, and finally a patrolman for the City of Clarksville, retiring in 2014. During his career, he was also an instructor and an expert firearms instructor. He was a founding member of the River Valley chapter of the Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.
He is preceded in death by his father, Neil Clubb.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Gay Lynn; two sons, Chad Clubb and wife Emily of Clarksville, and Lance Clubb of London; one daughter, Meredith Hutchins and husband Jimmy of Rogers; nine grandchildren, Austin Clubb and wife Victoria of Clarksville, Cody Clubb of Clarksville, Dusty Clubb of Lamar, Alexandra Reid and husband James of Northwest Arkansas; Layne Hutchins and wife Courtney of Neosho, Missouri, Conner Hutchins of Rogers, and Meghan Shannon and husband Paul of Mt. Grove, Missouri, and Silas Clubb and Bowie Clubb of London; seven great-grandchildren, Braylee, Brystol, Bryndli, Brytinn, Easton, Brylah, and Lillith; his mother, Floy Clubb; one sister, Sue Davis and husband Robert of Knoxville; mother-in-law, Bonnie Rawlings of Clarksville; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Allie Hawkins and husband Sid, David Rawlings and wife Sylvia, Jeremy Rawlings and wife Elizabeth, and Debby Mahurin and husband Harley; and many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
A visitation will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Second Baptist Church in Clarksville. A service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church officiated by Bro. Tom Dicus.

I have known Darrell most of my life . Made a lot of good memories with him . He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Prayers for his family .

Darrell (PD17) was a great friend. For many years he well served our community as an Officer. We worked many shifts together. He was a great coworker. He was quick to help you and he loved his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
