Henry Oliver Hall, age 79, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at his home in Mellwood, Arkansas. Mr. Henry was born on Wednesday, October 28, 1943 to the late Talmadge and Clister Hall in Tuckerman, Arkansas. He spent his life working as a mechanic and a farmer. He was a member of Lambrook Baptist Church. In his spare time, Mr. Henry enjoyed mechanics and riding his motorcycle.
Mr. Henry is survived by two sons, Jimmy Hall, Michael Hall; one daughter, Shelly Howell; four grandchildren, Steven Box (Megan), Matthew Box (Britney), Barrett Howell (Sally), Clayton Howell (Lindsey); eight grandchildren, Guthrie Howell, Gus Howell, Sawyer Howell, Gilly Howell, Talmadge Box, Owen Box, Evynn Howell, Macon Box and one sister, Leola Mitleff.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Charlene Miller Hall; his parents, Talmadge and Clister; brother, Willie Hall and son-in-law, Larry Howell.
Pallbearers will be Steven Box, Jr., Matthew Box, Steve Box, Clark Wallace, Carson McGee, James "Bubba" Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Miller, Jimmy Newsom and Harold Brown. Brother Kenneth Taylor will officiate.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be one hour prior beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Chapel. Interment will follow the funeral at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Barton, Arkansas.
