Larry Edward Howell, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at his home in Mellwood, Arkansas. Mr. Larry was born on Tuesday, August 15, 1961 to the late Lewis Howell and Betty Jo Stone. In his spare time, Mr. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Shelly Hall Howell; four sons, Barrett Howell (Sally), Clayton Howell (Lindsey), Steven Box (Megan), Matthew Box (Britney); eight grandchildren, Guthrie Howell, Gus Howell, Sawyer Howell, Gilly Howell, Talmadge Box, Owen Box, Evynn Howell, Macon Box and two sisters, Tammy Beavers (Russ) and Jody McIntosh (Phillip).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Howell and Betty Stone.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Barton, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Barrett Howell, Clayton Howell, Steven Box, Matthew Box, Carson McGee and Jimmy Newsom. Brother Tom Schuj will officiate.
