of West Memphis, AR
February 21, 1940 - August 16, 2023
Clifton Scott ''Tip'' Senhausen passed away on August 16, 2023 (aged 83), with his daughters by his side. He had a deep, abiding faith and is finally resting in peace in the arms of Our Lord.
Tip was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. He grew up in West Memphis and spent the last 35 years living at Horseshoe Lake. Tip loved hunting, fishing and spending time in the woods. His garden was another passion and he would often share his bounty with neighbors in need. He had a sparkle in his eye, a contagious laugh and he was never without a story to tell. He will be sadly missed.
Tip is survived by his daughters, Laura Lee (Scott) and Amanda (Chris); his sister, Amelia; grandchildren, Joel (Whitney), Samuel (Lillia), Emily and Anna Kate; and two great-grandchildren, Ford and James. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Basso and Ruth Amelia, and his brother Claude.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life for friends and family at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16th, 2023 at: 12387 Horseshoe Circle,
Horseshoe Lake, AR

Amanda and Laura, I am so sorry to hear of Tip’s death! Our family loved him dearly! One of my favorite Tip story was that he and our Mary Kathryn (at age five) went on a walk on the back of our property They stopped for a lesson in nature when right beside where they standing a large tree fell. Tip told mary Kathryn two things. 1 you could live your whole life and never see a tree fall like that. And 2. We probably shouldn’t tell your parents about it. And they didn’t tell us until mary Kathryn was married! Oh how we loved him. I’m so sorry we didn’t know. He loved you both so much!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Senhausen family. I attended Holy Cross with Tip for my growing up years. I remember he always had a smile on his face and wonderful stories to tell. He was a great man. My parents were Richard (Woody) and Dottie Wood.
Your Daddy was my Hokey Pokey man. Lived in Horseshoe before moving . Would pick him up for meetings, garden shop for seeds, Darwin’s dog food, Post Office etc. Many conversations in car , Religion, Politics,Fishing, and Life . Tip was Loved, Respected by all. Miss the scruffy Man I was Honored to know . My sincere Condolences to you and the Family. Sharon May ( Sherry) 🦋ðŸ™ðŸ¾

Tip we met at Holy Cross and then we were in the same class in school. We had a fun time as teens with all our friends. Now you are with Jesus because of His love and your faith. You made a difference in many a life. Thank You for giving me Laura as my Godchild. To God be the glory
Condolences to Tip’s family. He will be missed a lot. I enjoyed going to church with him at Horseshoe Lake Baptist Church for a period of time. Very smart man.
Graduated in 1959 ftom WMHS. Remember your name and your father. You will be missed sorely. We're all dying off very quickly--the great generation. Have missed West Memphis and the fine people very much. RiP, Tip.
