Alpha Dean (Mickey) Peters, 82, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed on August 2, 2023. Mickey was born December 25, 1940 in Yellville, Arkansas to Archie Burl Peters and Mary Carter Peters. Mickey was a veteran of the United States Army where he was a combat engineer and demolition specialist reaching the rank of E5. He was a rock mason and of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Cynthia Jane; two sisters, Virginia (Larry) Morgan and Peggy Smith (Loy Ray Clark) both of Mountain View, Arkansas; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, including one very special sister-in-law, Pearl Halk. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Archie Burl and Mary Carter Peters; one brother, Archie William Peters and three sisters, Marie Wagner, Mary Ethel Keller and Madeline Hefton.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
