Bobby Joe Boydston, age 74, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Bobby was born on Friday, March 4, 1949 to the late Gurvis Bertram Boydston and Ripple Rosetta Davis. Mr. Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved to go fishing.
Mr. Bobby is survived by one daughter, Kendall Boydston Newby (John) of Wynne, Arkansas; one sister, Delores Helton of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Cathy Burk of Wynne, Arkansas, Betty Boydston of Barton, Arkansas and one special friend, Sherry Beam of Wynne, Arkansas.
Mr. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents and a host of brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Chapel in West Helena.

Bobby it broke our heart to hear of your passing. Bobby our friendship goes back a very long way since you when to school with my 5 older sisters. We came back in contact with each other when I move in to Christopher Homes 12 years where my sister Betty Lou was already living there.Bobby you, A.W , Betty Lou and myself all became great friends. Sharing our stories with each other. I have always felt safer with you guys around. Its hard when you loose a dear friend whom I considered apart of my family.
