of Cabot, AR
March 10, 1962 - July 31, 2023
Timothy Todd Wilson, 61, of Cabot, AR was called home on July 31,2023 while surrounded by his loving family.
Todd was born to William Keith and Martha Wilson in West Helena, AR. He leaves behind three brothers, Keith, Larry and Kenneth Wilson; his devoted wife, Tammy; three children, Mandy Vest (and Troy), Tim Wilson (and Megan), Jeremy Wilson (and Kerry); grandchildren, Timothy Wilson III., Emma Wilson, Rhett Wilson, Karsyn Vest, Evelyn Vest and Ada Jane Vest; niece, Lauren Lockwood (and Zach); great nieces, Lexie Lockwood, Bailey Lockwood; loyal travel buddy, Rufas and grandpups, Scout and Coco.
Todd was honored to serve 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Tech Sgt. from 1982-2003. During his service, he traveled the World for countless tours, including Desert Shield and Desert Storm of the of the Persian Gulf Wars. Although his patriotic duties often pulled him from his family, he never hesitated to show his love. He enjoyed finding unique souvenirs from his travels to share with his loved ones. He was often behind the steering wheel with Tammy riding shotgun, Rufas in "his spot" across the back seat and an unknown destination ahead of him. His adventures often led him to family gatherings, road trip for trucks or just parts and lively concerts. No matter if the destination led to snacks for Rufas or wherever Tammy pointed, you knew you would get there fast. Todd wasn't much on sappy emotions, but if you were ever lucky enough to get a dose of his witty sarcasm, that's when you felt his love.
In his most recent adventure, he set out to restore his l978 Dodge truck. In his honor, his sons and loved ones have completed his vision set for his truck to take him on his final ride.
The Wilson Family would like to voice our appreciation for the exceptional care provided by his nurses at UAMS and the outpouring of love from the family and friends during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to donate to one of these organizations, Feed the Vets, K-9 for Warriors and Wounded Warrior Project.
To Miss Tammy and her whole family I send prayers for the comforting arms of God to wrap them in his healing power.
Tammy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Todd and I were cousins and classmates. His dad and my dad were cousins. Todd was like a brother to me in school. The last time I saw him was at my brother's funeral in 2021. I am sorry I didn't get to make it to the funeral, but you guys were in my thoughts and prayers the whole day.
Prayers for you and your family at time and healing. Your husband was always so caring with his family and it showed in his actions.
Prayers sent.🇺🇲ðŸ™ðŸ»
