April 16, 1932 - July 29, 2023
Frances Ann Sowle of North Little Rock passed away peacefully on July 29, 2023. She was 91. She was born April 16, 1932. She was preceded in death by her father, M. H. ''Tom'' Tomlinson; her mother, Margaret Tomlinson and her sister, Sara M. Goodman.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years John K. Sowle of North Little Rock, AR; son, Steve Sowle (Gloria) of Benton, AR; daughter, Julie Jenkins (Steve) of Sherwood, AR; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Frances took great pleasure in serving others and went out of her way to ensure that people were taken care of. Making others happy is what made Frances happy. Among the many pleasures that she loved was hosting an annual ''shaking party'' with her grandchildren at Christmas.
She was the co-founder of Benton First United Methodist Church's ''Jolly Time'' preschool, where she taught for many years. At First United Methodist Church in North Little Rock, she taught the ''Miracle Helpers'' Sunday School class for the mentally and physically challenged for 12 years and she volunteered at North Little Rock's Baptist Hospital for 8 years. Frances was a giver.
Services will be held at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. A private interment service will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.

We are so sorry to see today that Frances passed. She was a great neighbor when we lived in NLR. Nothing is ever lost when you know where it is and you can be confident where Frances is. Our prayes are being offered for all of you.
What a wonderful friend and cousin. We have had some wonderful times together, from our visits and vacations to great phone conversations. You raised a wonderful family. A beautiful legacy for all those left behind. We will miss you. Love you.
