Rickey Lynn "Duck" Erwin, age 64, of Western Grove, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, July 28th, 2023 at Regency Hospital in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born in Harrison, Arkansas on July 21st, 1959 to Elwood "Mutt" Erwin and Alene Bogle Erwin.
Rickey graduated from St. Joe High School. He spent 43 years of his life as a truck driver. He began his career driving a truck for Claridge and then moved on to become a cattle hauler. He worked until his retirement in December of 2022. He was a hardworking man with a great sense of humor. His favorite thing to quote to his kids was "I've had worse places than that on my eyeball". He has passed that humorous legacy on to several of his grandchildren. He worshiped his kids and grandkids. If he wasn't out on the truck, he never missed a party that involved his Grands. Rickey made many good and close friends throughout his trucking career. His sense of humor and strong work ethic will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Charline Sisco Erwin of the home; his girls, Shelly Erwin (James Greenhaw) of Harrison, Kellie Evans (Tony) of Bellefonte and Sheri Wyatt (Cody) of Western Grove; his grandchildren, Wesley Grinder (Destiny) of Western Grove, Austin Evans (Alexis) of Springfield, MO, Janeah Evans, Anthony Evans and Aiden Evans all of Bellefonte, Emma Wyatt, Zoey Wyatt, Hady Wyatt and Lyla Wyatt all of Western Grove; his mother, Alene Erwin of Anderson Flat; brothers, Robert Erwin (Lisa) of Anderson Flat and Kevin Erwin also of Anderson Flat; sisters, Janet Green (Cliff) of Harrison, Renee Gregory (Tim) of St. Joe, Starla Case of Bellefonte and Marsha Snavely (Brian) of Harrison; his uncle, Cart Taylor of Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.
Rickey is preceded in death by his dad, Mutt Erwin and one grandson, Colton Erwin.
Memorial services for Rickey will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 at Western Grove Bible Church in Western Grove, Arkansas with Bro. Dennis Sisco officiating.

Ricky was a great childhood friend, I spent many days playing basketball at his house. I remember him having a real calm demeanor and as kind as they come. RIP old classmate!! My deepest condolences to his family!
Uncle Rick always had a smile to give and was ornery in the best way. In true Erwin style, he loved big. He will be missed.
