George Lee Brazzil Jr.

of Greenbrier, AR

April 12, 1955 - July 22, 2023

George ''Lee'' Brazzil, Jr. passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Baptist in Conway after battling cancer for 3 years. Lee was surrounded by his two daughters, sister and son-in-law when he took his last breath. He was born April 12, 1955 in Little Rock, Arkansas to George Brazzil, Sr. and Greta Malinda Brazzil. Lee graduated from McClellan High School and attended the University of Central Arkansas. He started working for Timex Corporation in 1987 and retired after 29 years as General Manager of the Distribution Center. Lee and Debbie are members of the First United Methodist Church in Conway, AR. He will be remembered for his witty charm, his ''Tom Selleck'' look alike status and being the rock of his family. If Lee wasn't working in his own yard, he was constantly watching sports or cheering on the Razorbacks. He also loved movies and taking his wife, Debbie to all the new releases.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Lee Brazzil Sr.

Lee is survived by his mother, Greta Malinda Brazzil, of Greenbrier; his wife of 42 years, Debbie Brazzil; daughters, Lauren Tigert of Conway, Arkansas and Paige (Christopher) Fortner of Guy, Arkansas; sister, Catherine (Ron) Hatch of Panguitch, Utah and three amazing grandchildren, Urijah Fortner, Gabriella Fortner and Jackie Hedrick.

The family would like to thank the staff at Baptist Health on the 3rd Floor for the extraordinary care and compassion of Lee while he was in inpatient care, Sky (Mariah), Madison, Carly, Shelby, Christina and Oznena (ICU).

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10:00am at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Immediately following services there will be a Friends and Family reception at Guy Church of Christ in Guy, Arkansas.

Please consider donating to the Sarcoma Foundation of America in Lee's honor, to help with continued research for this rare disease. http://www.curesarcoma.org/donate-today/

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said, 'Behold, I make all things new. Write this down, for these words are faithful and true.'” (Rev 21:4-5) May you all know the complete peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit now and in the many days to come.

Our family was more than blessed to have Lee as a member. He was kind, quiet always interested in those around him. Doing whatever it took to get the job done. I never knew a better son husband and father. He was one of the few who make our world a better place. I’ll surely miss you and remember your sweet spirit🙏🙏💜
