Joanalia Proffitt, age 52, of Summit, Arkansas passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 in Mountain Home.
Joanalia was born in Yellville, February 17, 1971 to Charles and Jo Ella (Kirkwood) Baker. She was a lifetime resident of the area. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her her husband, Mark Proffitt of the home; sons, Logan Adams, Reid McGaughey (Anastasia) all of Yellville; stepsons, Jason Proffitt of Yellville, Anthony Proffitt of Valley Springs and daughter, Christie Proffitt of Midway; five grandchildren, Josie McGaughey, Nolan Hargrove, Kiyah Proffitt, Jayce Proffitt and Tucker Proffitt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Riley McGaughey and a grandchild, Tristan Hargrove.
Visitation for Mrs. Proffitt will be 10:00 to 11:00 am Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Rushing and Jon Smeltzer officiating.
Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery near Flippin.
Pallbearers will be Logan Adams, Reid McGaughey, Anthony Proffitt, Jason Proffitt, Joseph Lamkin and Hunter Lamberth.
