Rubye Ann Williams passed away on July 19, 2023, in Springfield, MO. She was born in Byhalia, MS on June 1, 1932.
She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church, Harrison, AR where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was also a school teacher in Helena and Valley Springs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Talbot Myers, Jr. and Mary Rubye (Simpson) Myers, and grandson, Randy Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Vick Williams of Ozark; her daughter, Vickie Brown and son, Dick Williams (Debbie); grandchildren, Tony Brown (Cassie), Rich Williams (Brooke), Tara Sheppard (Shawn), Nick Williams (Rebecca) and 7 great-grandchildren, Jaysa, Landry, Lexi, Sawyer, Lily, Elijah and Lochlann.
Visitation was on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Graveside service was held at Maplewood Cemetery on Monday, July 31, 2023.
We have so enjoyed the friendship of Richard and RubyeAnn at Cassidy Methodist Church in Nixa MO . Such a fine couple and always so friendly. Prayers for Richard and family.
I remember her so well from my childhood. Spending the night with my best friend Tara Brown! She was such an amazing lady and so sweet! My prayers are with the family during this difficult time♥ï¸
