Lawrence (Larry) Michael Monahan, 59, of Benton died suddenly on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023. He was born on February 15, 1964 and raised most of his childhood in New Jersey before moving with his family to Arkansas. Larry still stayed true to his Yankees and Giants. He loved his sister, brother-in-law and his nephews. He enjoyed his movie nights, Italian nights, fireworks, Christmas mornings and most of all family time. Larry was a Data Operations Team Lead with Vestcom for over 33 years. Later in life, Larry learned KRAV maga where he earned his orange belt. He will be deeply missed by many.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, the late Robert Monahan; his mother, the late "Peggy" Monahan and his uncle/brother, the late Michael Joyce Sr. He is survived by his sister, Margaret Hailey (Scott); his nephews, Robert Hailey (Jamie), Dylan Hailey, JD Hailey, Anthony Hailey and his grand-nephews, Logan and Luke Hailey.
His visitation will be on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30 Little Rock, Arkansas 72209, from 2:00-4:00 pm.

Leisure Suite Larry, I’m going to miss joking around and ripping on each other during our work calls. It doesn’t seem real getting this news today. Rest in Peace brother.
Cousin Larry, After you moved to Little Rock we lost touch. Over the last 2 years we began communicating through messenger, sharing jokes etc.
I enjoyed this very much, sometimes for hours.
I am so glad we had that, and will miss you very much!

I will always remember Uncle Larry for being one of the most kind and funny people to be around. I already miss sharing comedian stand up videos and rock songs with him every day. He set the example of being an amazing uncle that I hope to become for my nephews.
