Charles Nils Henrikson ''Bub'', age 65, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023. He was born in Buffalo, New York on November 23rd, 1957 to Eugene William Henrikson and Hazel Myrtle Treece Henrikson.
First and foremost in Bub's life was his love for the word of God and his relationship with Jesus. His bible rarely left his hands and he was very knowledgeable about the contents of his bible. Bub was a US Army Veteran. He served at the end of the Vietnam Era. He was a lifelong Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. He was in excellent physical shape and loved to walk everywhere he went and recently enjoyed riding his bicycle. He was proud of his work at McDonald's in Marshall. Bub loved his family with all his heart. He was a Searcy County icon that could be seen walking these highways at any given time. He was always happy to stop and chat. His kind, gentle presence will be greatly missed by his family and the residents of Searcy County.
Survivors include his siblings, Judith Overman of Buffalo, NY, Ronald Henrikson of Buffalo, NY and William Henrikson (Sandra) of Tonawanda, NY and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Hazel Henrikson; brother, Steven Henrikson and sister, Deborah Kubiak.
Memorial services for Bub will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Tommy Jolly officiating. Bub would say everyone please ''walk'' to my memorial service, but we all know that we are not as tough as Bub, so please come celebrate his life regardless of your mode of transportation.
RIP Bub. " A life lived right is truly a life lived".

Uncle Chuck, I loved our talks usually when you were sitting under a tree while visiting. You always spoke about God and I can see how much you truly followed Him and let Him lead you. I am so comforted that I will see you in Heaven one day and that you are now walking through those streets spreading your joy.
I've known Charles for a long time. He will be missed. Prayers go out to the family.

I will definitely miss seeing Charles. I considered him a friend. Sometimes he would ride with me when I stopped and asked, but sometimes he was very focused and did not want to be interrupted. We talked about the Bible quiet a bit, and his knowledge of it impressed me to no end. I thank God for Charles' friendship. He was the most disciplined man I have ever met. There is no doubt he is resting in the arms of Jesus. 💜
With sympathy. Jim McBride
Bub was a wonderful man that always smiled. I asked him one time why he smiled and his response was “one day you’ll knowâ€. I guess his faith gave him strength and allowed him to be who he wanted to be. RIP my nephew.
We were sorry to hear of Bub's passing, may gods grace and love be with him.
Bub was a very good friend to all who knew him. He will truly be missed in the Leslie area and he was a fine Christian man.
I will certainly miss Charles. I knew him from Leslie. The first time I really got to know him was at Pizza Hut in Marshall. He always had his Bible with him. Through the years I would talk to him now and again and then one day he came in McDonald’s for a job interview, which I gave him. We hired him and I got to know Charles pretty good. I got to train him when he started. He caught on very quick. He said he preferred to be called Nils but I always called him Charles. He was always very respectful, punctual and a very hard worker. Always willing to help do what needed to be done. I will miss you dear Charles but I know you are in Heaven now walking those streets. Prayers and comfort to his family and friends.
What an amazing person, and a wonderful man of God. Uncle Chuck was protective yet gentle, in tune with the world around him, and loved in such a pure way. To know him was to know the love of God. I will dearly miss him. Our loss is heaven’s gain. Until we meet again…
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Uncle Chuck was one of my favorite people in the world. So gentle and protective, one with the world around him and the word of God.
Until we meet again…

Charles Family & Friend,
We don't tell our family, friends or neighbors enough about how we feel about them till it's to late. You were one of a kind great person true Child of God. A wonderful neighbor & friend a fixture on South Mountain. Charles never complained about a bad day. Sometime his knee's would hurt & it was hard for him to walk. He would say they will get better.
Charles you are missed now and always. May the wings that are placed on you take the pressure off your knees forever, fare-well old friend.
