Carolyn Kay Wewer, 76, of Scranton, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 in Clarksville, Arkansas. She was born on December 3, 1946 in Paris, Arkansas to her late parents, Roy D. and Ruby Jewell (Lowery) Gattis.
Carolyn was a homemaker and a devoted mother who cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed being involved in the antique car club, she and her husband was a member of before he passed away.
In addition to her parents; she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wewer; five brothers, Larry Gattis, Jimmy Gattis, Mike Gattis, William Gattis and Harlan Gattis and two sisters, Irba Thompson and Debra Gattis.
She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Murray of Scranton, Sandy Sims and Travis Tebben of Scranton and Carla Koch and husband, Mike of Scranton; one son, Jerry Wewer, Jr. of Scranton; three sisters, Judy Wewer and husband, Bob of Scranton, Brenda Ahne and husband, Bill of Scranton and Tammy Mathews and husband, Rich of Scranton; two brothers, Ray Gattis and wife, Kathy of Wichita, Kansas and John Gattis of Scranton; 12 Grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial to follow in Prairie View Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Travis Tebben, Mike Koch, Corby Wood, Johnathon Epps, Cole Koch and Jared Yocum.

I still think about you all the time. I miss you granny. When someone thinks of what a grandmother should be, you were it. I miss your stories and your laugh. If there's a heaven, you're there. I hope those that were close to her everyday are doing okay. Her and grandpa were the core of the family.
