Mr. Saul Eugene Palmer, Jr., age 70, passed away on June 29, 2023, at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Palmer is survived by his wife, Mrs. Barbara Ann Palmer, his daughters Stacey Palmer and Barissa Jones, his grandson Corey Jackson, his granddaughter Brooklynn Jones, his siblings: Elouise Palmer, Linda Luster, Jackie Palmer and David Palmer, Nieces: Karen Palmer, Kelly Palmer, Tondalea Palmer, Sheree Palmer, Ashlynn Palmer, Justin Palmer, and Sariah Luster. Nephews: Anderson Luster (Shana), Brennon Luster (Erika), Bobby Perkins (Tasha) Ronnie Palmer, Sr., Shone Palmer, Lane Luster, Scottie Manning and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and other loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Palmer, his parents, Saul E. Palmer, Sr. and Willie Lee Palmer, his brother, Ronnie Palmer, his sisters, Debra Palmer and Janice Palmer, and his granddaughter, Sydney Palmer.
Saul served honorably in the Air Force, achieving the rank of Administration Specialist. He graduated from Arkansas Baptist College with a bachelor's degree in education. He was also a barber for many years, and he loved to talk to everyone he met. Saul was well known in the community and will be greatly missed.
Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, Arkansas, will host the wake services on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 6-8pm and Greater Second Baptist Church, 5615 Geyer Springs Road, Little Rock, Arkansas, will host funeral services on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 9:30 am. Military Honors will be held graveside at Little Rock National Cemetery at 11:30am.
