So sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Roy Bridges. He was a very good friend of my late father, John Brownlee. I remember Mr. Bridges from Wahl. He was a caring and decent man. Quick with a smile. School systems need more dedicated men like him. Prayers and love for your family.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Roy was such a wonderful and dedicated person. When we worked together in the HWH school district, I knew that if I had a need, he would do his best to fill it. He always had a gentle spirit and made you feel like you and your needs were important. Things were never the same after he retired. Our community lost a good man.
Mr Bridges was always so kind to me. I remember being a student in the sixth grade at Woodruff when he was the principal. He was always very approachable & seemed happy. When I grew up & became an adult, he always was the same way - very friendly and approachable - and always seemed happy! He gave so much of himself to others - His family, students, staff, fellow citizens in this community. As an educator, I know the powerful opportunity we have to make such a positive impact upon children. He made a positive impact upon me, & I’m so thankful for his life. He was a wonderful role model & educator. Thank you for sharing him with us. His life made a difference. Praying for comfort & strength for his family & friends. Much love 💕 to you all.
Sad to see Roy is no longer with us. He was a really nice man, a great educator and a great father. He will be greatly missed by the community and friends.

Lindsey, I am very sorry for your families Loss.
Mr Bridges will be missed by many whom he influenced in life. Such a down to earth kinda of guy. He love talking about his family, shopping and letting us knowvthe best places to eat. I was amazed that someone of his stature would always openly talk about his love for his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He was a father figure, friend and great supervisor to employees of Helena West-Helena School District. If you presented him a problem, he definitely would solve it with enthusiasm.
Just wanted to thank his amazing family for sharing him with us. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers today and the days to come!
So sorry for your loss.
