I just learned of my good friend Fred Lancaster’s passing. We lost touch after I moved from Texas. I can’t remember a better person to work with in my years in the aerospace industry. Fred and Ginger were the best! RIP Buddy, hope to cross paths again..

Fred was a great brother-in-law, he treated me as if i was his kid brother. I think i helped bring him and Ginger together. It was on a Saturday and i had to cut the lawn. i didn't want to and i asked Griner to keep me company. She didn't wan't to but said she would. She sat on the front porch and i started mowing. This great 1955 Studebaker drove up and the driver started eyeing my sister, it was Fred. He went into the house across the street and later that day he come over to meet Ginger. I loved that car and Fred would let me have it on Saturday nights while he and Ginger would stay at home with my mom. Fred was loved by all of our family and i will miss him. Once he and Griner moved to Austin and then to Mountian View they would make that long drive to visit us here every two to four years. They came for my mothers 80 and 90 birthdays and for her funeral. Thanks Fred for being so good to Ginger, i know how much you missed her, and to us and for all the great memories. God bless you.
