Mrs. Murphy, I don't suppose that you will remember my wife and me, we were members of Manns Chapel Baptist Church many years ago.It may have been Bro Darrels first church as he began his ministry.I don't remember what year it was but I remember Jason was around 6 or seven years old.We lived just east of the church in an old one room school house that had been converted into living quarters. When Bro Darrel accepted the church he had not been ordained so we along with Leon and Aline Johnson and maybe another couple were able to attend his ordination service.I have wondered many times where you all went after his service there. Iwas always blessed by his sermons.I want to send our sympathies to you on your loss. By accident I was searching for a friends obit when I came across his. Almost all of the members that were there have already crosssed over and the church building was destroyed by a grass fire several years ago. I still have fond memories of that church.I was saved there at the age of 11 years old.I am now almost 80 and wouldn't take nothing for my journey now!!
