Nancy Lavon White, 72, of Norfork, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She was born February 24th, 1951 in Marshall, Arkansas to A.B. and Joyce (Turnbough) Holt. She was a long time member of the Lone Rock Church of Christ and one of the founding members of Lone Rock Volunteer Fire Department. A lover of sewing, fishing, baking, crossword puzzles and being around her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her children, Terry (Heidi) White of Yellville, AR; stepson, Earnest (Nikki) Malloy Jr of Norfork, AR and stepdaughter, Shelly (Dalton) Durham of West Plains, MO; 8 grandchildren, Jason Shields, A.J. Saldana, Tabitha Tackitt, Dezzerae Saldana, Wesley Durham, Matthew Malloy, Hunter Malloy and Clara Malloy; 3 great grandchildren, Bentley, Rebecca and Adaley; Sisters, Ann (Leroy) Lesley of Big Flat, AR and Linda Laffoon of Gassville, AR and a host of nephews, nieces and longtime friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husbands, Darrell White and Earnest Malloy Sr.; Parents, A.B. and Joyce Holt and a stillborn child.
A graveside service for Ms. White will be Friday, June 9th at 10:00 am at Burnt School House Cemetery in Norfork, AR.
I did not learn of Nancy's passing until over a week after her memorial service. She was a lovely person, and I extend my sincere sympathy to all of her friends and family. May she rest in peace.
