I always looked up to you, Kristy, when we were growing up. You were always that "cool" older cousin with great clothes and an easy laugh. I also sensed a quiet courage in you, even as a young girl. I take solace in all the family you will meet in heaven--your folks and grandparents, your Aunt Jackie, your cousin Joe, our son Ben, and many others.
“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the heart of man conceived,
what God has prepared for those who love him,â€
(1 Corinthians 2:9)
My friend! We were neighbors when our daughters were young. We lived in Las Cruces and ran all over that place in her blue VW super beetle or my yellow mustang. We helped each other move from place to place, home decor with no money and lots of imagination, we shared secrets, laughter and lots of tears. Any crisis in our life we would pick up the phone and share. No matter the miles or the years, we would pick up right where we left off. Never a year that I did not have a card on my birthday from her. She used to say she was the Ethel to my Lucy. Those were the days my friendâ¤ï¸. Tara sweet little girl, you are in my prayers. What an amazing woman, our loss - heavens gain!
My condolences to Tara and her family.
