Ruth Grace, 88, died Friday, June 2, 2023 at her home in Lamar. She was born October 4, 1934 in Dover to Dwight and Laura E. (Hankins) Yow. Ruth was deeply devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devout Christian and a long-time member of Hedgeway Church in Lamar. Ruth was fond of gardening, sewing and reading. She also enjoyed her work at Walmart.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Willis B. Grace; one son, Donald Grace and one granddaughter, Beverly Bachus Bewley.
Ruth is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Bachus and husband, Leon and Mary Grace both of Lamar; three sons, Wade Grace and wife, Tricia of Clarksville, Gary Grace and wife, Kim and Kenneth Grace and wife, Diane both of Lamar; one daughter-in-law, Brandie Grace Cook; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and one sister, Lucille Perea of Dover.
A visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7 at Hedgeway Church in Lamar, followed by burial at Holman Cemetery in Lamar. Pastor Don Alexander will officiate. Jacob Grace, Jared Grace, Justin Grace, Braydon Grace, Bryce Grace and Skylr Grace will serve as pallbearers.
