Mrs. Anita Louise Treat passed onto her heavenly home on June 03, 2023. She was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas on May 02, 1936 to Nay B. and Minerva M. (Pope) Morris. She married Gerald Treat on May 22, 1953 and spent 67 loving years traveling. She attended Mountain Home High School and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Mountain Home.
Anita's life was full of activities like attending church, singing, playing music, painting, visiting with friends, and caring for her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was also a custom cake decorator, seamstress, and cook and canner of things harvested from her garden which she shared with family and friends. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed sharing her love for God with everyone.
Anita is survived by son: Michael Treat (Mary) of Salem, Arkansas; daughter: Brenda Caple of Mountain Home; 8 grandchildren: Jason Caple of Gassville, Arkansas, Jessica Thornhill (Chris) of Plainview, Texas, Andy Caple of Mountain Home, Justine Mohn (Pete) of Paris, Missouri, Robert Treat (Jennifer) of Schertz, Texas, Jay Caple of Kansas City, Missouri, Deborah Martin of Salem, Lydia Wilson (Jesse) of Licking, Missouri; several great-grandchildren; 6 brothers and sisters-in-law: Howard and Joan Reeves, Joyce Reeves, Lonnie and Ramona Chapman, and Blake McGuire. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; granddaughter: Raelyn Judd; 3 sisters: Barbara Medley (Neil), Nervina Bentz (George), and Annette McGuire; brother: Clifford Morris (Evelyn); sister-in-law: Barbara Chapman; brother-in-law: Roy D. Reeve, and great-nephew: Byron Chapman.
A visitation will be held at Roller Funeral Home between 10-11:30am on Saturday, June 10, 2023, with graveside services to follow at noon at Kirby Tucker's Cemetery.

So very sorry to hear of Anita's passing. Have known her almost all my life. I remember when she and Gerald were in High School. I was in grade school then. Her brother Clifford was a good friend. My prayers go out for all the family. She will be sorely missed by many.
