Joseph Anthony Simone, age 75, of Witts Springs, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 at his home. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 15th, 1947 to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Simone.
Joseph was a Vietnam War veteran of the United States Army. He was a recipient of the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Bronze Star, Cross of Gallantry, Palm and Silver Star, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Soldiers Medal. Joseph was a man of many talents and held many positions during his lifetime. He was a business owner and restaurateur. He was an excellent cook and loved looking up recipes. He especially enjoyed cooking his mother's old recipes. Joseph was an avid gamer and loved to play with his friends. He liked fly fishing, traveling and driving the RV around this beautiful country.
Survivors include his wife of almost nine years, Connie Smarr Simone; his sons, Joseph Simone of Florida and Dominic Simone (Donna) of Los Alamos, New Mexico; step-son, Jimmy Godfrey (finance`, Bernadette) of Sparks, Nevada; daughter, Danielle Blain (Chris) of Rosebush, Michigan; step-daughter, Susie Thomas (Joe) of Jasper, Georgia; grandchildren, Luca Simone, James Godfrey and Bianca Blain and one brother, Anthony Simone of Cleveland, Ohio.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents.
No services are planned at his time. Joseph will be buried in Whisenant Cemetery at a later date.
He was a gentleman and loved you to the core of his being. I wish you had more time together on the planet. All my thoughts and prayers are with you.
