Helen "Earlene" Brown, 93, of Jonesboro passed away May 31, 2023 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on July 19, 1929 in Tuckerman to Joel and Katie (Harvey) Smith. Earlene was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was retired from General Electric. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking for her family.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years, Doyle Brown; daughter, Glenda Mayberry; great grandchild, Jayden Wings; brothers, Don Ransone, Dale Ransone, Gale Ransone and Joe Smith and a son in law, Marty Tate.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter in law, Phillip and Catherine Brown; daughter, Marieta Tate; grandchildren, Derick, Wade, DeShaun, Allison, Tyler, Meagan, Mason, McCain and Makena; eighteen great grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Sharon) Ransone, Jim Smith; sisters, Frances Walker, Eunice (Leland) Worlow and Patsy Watkins and a son in law, Denny Mayberry.

Funeral service will be Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church, 3930 Aggie Rd. in Jonesboro, at 2:00 pm, with Brandon Wright officiating. Burial will follow at McDaniel Cemetery.

Visitation will precede the service beginning at 1:00 pm.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Derick Mayberry, Wade Brown, Tyler Brown, Mason Tate, McCain Tate and Matthew Gillean.

Memorial contributions can be made in Earlene's memory to Grace Baptist Church, 3930 Aggie Rd. Jonesboro, AR.

Services are under the care of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
